glasstemp

Glasstemp, a fully tempered glass product technically proven tougher and safer, no ordinary float glass can compare. Glasstemp is tempered with a compressed layer on its surface by heating up float glass to a temperature of around 700 degrees Celsius and then blowing air into its surface cooling it down swiftly and uniformly.

EXTREME STRENGTH

Glasstemp fully tempered glass has four to five times the static strength against wind and water pressure compared to an annealed glass with the same thickness.

MAXIMUM RESISTANCE TO THERMAL STRESS

Glasstemp fully tempered glass has many times the ability to withstand abrupt changes in thermal temperature. It has high resistance to thermal shock.

OPTIMUM PROTECTION AND SAFETY

Unlike ordinary annealed glass that can break into sharp splinters, Glasstemp decomposes into small, blunt, drop-like particles once breakage occurs. This relatively minimizes the risk of serious injuries caused by broken pieces.
